We invented La Capelette® because our family had a great
need for it. It was frustrating when my daughter's clothes were
always wet despite my best efforts to towel dry her hair. I
dreaded dealing with my own wet hair or when I had to apply hairspray
and other products. There was nothing on the market that we
could use. I would try to find something lightweight to wrap
around my shoulders, but nothing quite fit the bill.One night I picked up a scissor, started cutting and made a pattern from an old towel. I enlisted the help of my seamstress mother in law, who was excited by the idea and we made the first sample/prototype of La Capelette®.
We started using it right away in our own home and she wisely made one for herself. Then we had to make more for our family members since the feedback were all positive, mostly with "Why didn't I think of that?" Everyone wanted one and once they tried it they didn't want to give it back. We thought what a break through, as one person said "In this day and age you would think we would have something like this."
This is something we use everyday and we are excited for you to give a try. Believe me once you try it you will never go back to being uncomfortable or worry about being wet or sticky. I stopped worrying about my daughter's wet hair, she has it on as she go about her busy business as her hair is drying. I don't have to worry about damp clothes smelling up the hamper - hers and mine.
